The mystery, at least partially, lies at the building blocks of life, protein, a type of molecule that follows all the principles of organic chemistry and also is the main theme of our lab.

The quest for a better life also ignites our curiosity about making new things. Engineering machinery that never exists on earth allows us to craft solutions for several grand challenges that our human beings face, including environmental crisis and diseases.
